An ideal Elite Round debut for the Youth National Team, who beat Estonia 3-0 at Waterford Sports Centre, Ireland, for the first matchday of the EURO U19 Elite Round fifth qualifying group. The goals for the National Team were scored by Stefanos Tzimas in the 21st and 27th minutes and Nikolaou in the 95th minute.

In the second half of the match, Anastasios Theou’s players managed their lead and missed great opportunities to extend their lead with a shot by Deligiannis in the 57th minute, a header by Keramitsis in the 60th minute and a shot by Goumas in the 67th minute. The final 3-0 was made by Nikolaou in the 5th minute of stoppage time with a strong shot from the wide area.
